
6th Grade Election Week is coming up! Let’s celebrate the hard work of all our candidates and cheer them on by showing our spirit! We will have dress-up days next week (Sept. 3-6) and we want you to go all out!

Each month, you will have the opportunity to participate in a school-wide art contest celebrating diversity. First up is the Hispanic Heritage Art Contest. Who is a Hispanic artist who inspires you? This can include artists in the areas of visual art, design, literature, drama, dance, music, or culinary art. Contest rules & entry forms are available in Mrs. Sitton's room B112 & on the CMM website.


School Picture Day is September 4th. As always, photos will be taken during PE hour. Information about ordering picture packets will go home with students today.

Quick reminder for this week, we will have an informational meeting for 6th graders who are interested in joining Student Council. The meeting will be held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August 13th in the CMM PAC. Students are welcome to attend, but parents' attendance is mandatory. You will not be eligible to run if your parent or guardian does not attend this meeting. This is for 6th-grade students ONLY. We hope to see you there!

Yearbooks will be distributed during 8th hour on Monday, May 13th. If you pre-ordered a yearbook, you will receive it then. If you didn't preorder a yearbook and wish to purchase an extra, bring $60 CASH to school on May 13th. An all-call will be made after all preordered yearbooks have been distributed to bring $60 CASH to Mr. Delaney's room to purchase an extra.


Thursday is the last day to bring backpacks or large bags to school. Starting Friday 5/10 - NO BACKPACKS or LARGE BAGS. Lunches only, please. #cmmunity


Attention 8th graders! Please go to Canvas and complete the assignments in the 8th Grade Video course. You must submit a photo of yourself in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to the appropriate assignment.
