Clifford Jenkins, Assistant Principal of Administration

Mr. Jenkins has been involved in education for over 22 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music performance at Alcorn State University. He later perused further studies in the Educational Program at Centenary College and received his standard teaching certificate. Mr. Jenkins also earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Centenary College. He is currently perusing his Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Management.

Mr. Jenkins has successfully taught 5th- 12th grade band in Caddo and Desoto Parishes. Mr. Jenkins has been involved with and chaired a number of committees throughout his career. He has served in various leadership roles, including the 504 coordinator at Mansfield Middle School where he arranged and participated in 504 SBLC meetings, used data to assist administrators with student accommodations and provided and provided and assisted with 504 plans to meet individual student needs.

Mr. Jenkins believes that all children can learn but each learns in a different way at different rates. He believes that with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. Keeping the atmosphere positive is the key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students, and parents. Mr. Jenkins feels that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her full potential.
